“I want a soul mate who can sit me down, shut me up, tell me ten things I don’t already know, and make me laugh. I don’t care what you look like, just turn me on. And if you can do that, I will follow you on bloody stumps through the snow. I will nibble your mukluks with my own teeth. I will do your windows. I will care about your feelings. Just have something in there.”

I hate living at home. If I’m hungry there is never any food to eat. If I go buy some I have to hide it in my room so no one else will eat it. If I make food for myself then I get called selfish and lazy for not making any for everyone else. I can’t fucking win. If I want food, I have to pay for it myself. I can’t fucking wait to move out and cook whatever the fuck I want, whenever the fuck I want, and eat however much I want.
Who Needs Feminism?: Resubmitting another post because this happened, today.
I Need Feminism because today, I was tailed by a man in a car for a few minutes while walking in a carpark during work. I was wearing my work clothes, a collared polo shirt over a long-sleeved shirt and loose dark pants. Hardly provocative or ‘asking for it’, which is what some people would sneer…
^Fuck this shit. I hate the fact that some men feel they are entitled to treat woman like this, and I hate the fact even more that it is accepted by society. Every time a man has EVER done this to me, be it a cat call, or a ‘hey sexy’ I have put them in their place. Even at my previous jobs when this has happened I have done it. Some men get off on the reaction, but I rarely find that the best thing to do is to keep quiet. If you keep quiet that means that it is ok for them to do and they will go on doing this and maybe next time to someone who can’t take it and they may even push it a step further. Woman are not objects, just like men are not. Reverse the roles, if a guy starts talking dirty to you do it right back to him but take the power role. “Oh you’d like to bend me over, I’d like to bend you over to and ram my cock right up your tight ass” for all they know maybe you have a dick! Maybe you a transgender male to female?
One thing that does annoy me from time to time is when people complain about something but refuse to change it. I have, in every situation I’ve encountered, protected, stood up for, and fought back in any situation be it with me or a stranger when someone tried to sexually harass another person. I helped a young girl at a concert get away from an attacker, stood up for gay friends when they were being harassed in the street, even in junior high I told the ‘cool kids’ to fuck off and stop harassing/teasing a feminine boy.
AGHHH! this makes me so angry.
